This post is permanent 18 hours per week, term time

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

A HCSW, B3 is required to work across the Pathways within Specialist Children’s Services. Main duties: The post holder will support the Specialist Community Paediatric Team (SCPT) Nursing service to provide an accessible, appropriate, culturally sensitive, safe, person centred and effective service for children, young people and families within ASL schools and community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. The work will be facilitated, supervised and supported by the SCPT Nursing team, across all community paediatric nursing pathways (CCN Home / ASL Schools, Vulnerability, Complex Disability The post holder will participate in the care of service users in schools and within the community setting under the direction of a SCPT Nursing team, taking into account the lifestyle, race, gender and cultural background, and factors which impact on physical, mental or emotional health. The post holder will represent the values and beliefs of the SCPT Nursing service as well as that of the organisation. Daily workload will be varied with a range of activities delegated by the SCPT Nursing Team. Experience and confidence in working with children and young adults with complex health issues as providing support, direct interventions and prescribed interventions is essential to the role.
