**Job Description**:
We are currently looking for placement students in the following areas:
**Finance & Accounting** You will either be based in the Finance department, where you will be supporting with reporting and analysis, including gaining real insights on Year End reporting. Alternatively you may be based in Controlling, where your focus will be on the accounting and reporting function, including researching and reporting on the UK and Ireland Economy and taking responsibility for headcount reporting. In both roles you support experts in the management of a Global Company's finances.
**Data Analyst** This placement gives you responsibility of profiling, cleaning and transforming data for one our global customers. As part of this role, you will identify data needs and new processes for data collection.
**Foreign Trade **Working alongside the operations team in areas such as procedural mapping, process improvement and supporting the internal control process ensuring compliance. This role will give you a great insight on how to utilise various tools to generate greater transparency to processes and results.
**HR - Learning and Development** You will support the team with a variety of programmes such as mentoring, coaching and talent development. As part of this role, you will take responsibility for our dedicated placement programme BUILD, that aims to support placement students to network and develop key competencies.
Whichever role you choose, you will need to be highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and demands by anticipating the needs of others and looking for proactive solutions, so you will have the following attributes:

**Qualifications**:
**Essential Qualifications/Skills**:
- Studying for an undergraduate or Masters degree and required to take a placement as part of your course.
- Ability to organise own work and work autonomously.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Proficient in MS office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to use an integrated system such as SAP, social media, databases or other tools provided by the company to do your role.
Additional Information
This is a 12 or 13 month internship beginning in June or July 2023. This position is open to undergraduates or Masters students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.
**You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement.** Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.
Before attending an interview for this position you must inform your Faculty/School Placement Officer and we strongly suggest you check you are eligible for a placement before you apply. If your Faculty/School does not have a Placement Officer, you must inform your course tutor.
