About the role
Do you have a knack for helping people, and a desire to work at the heart of the local community? We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile person to join our friendly and hard-working team.
St Neots Library is a busy and vibrant library catering for a growing, and diverse, community. As well as catering for all ages with our selection of books, we organise regular activities and events, and work closely with schools and other local groups.
**This is an 18.5 hour post, based at St Neots Library.**
Staff from St Neots Library support a wider team which includes Buckden Library, and occasionally other libraries in the Huntingdonshire District. Therefore, some travel may be necessary from time to time.
**For more information, or to chat about this opportunity, please contact Martin Gilman.**
**Phone: 07443 146506**
What will you be doing?
This is primarily a customer facing role working in the library, dealing with enquiries, processing stock, carrying out admin work and also assisting with and running events. Although there is plenty of routine work, there are many opportunities to be creative.
Please refer to the Job Hazards information for more details about the demands of the job.
