**JOB PURPOSE**

To support the internal communications team to effectively deliver the internal comms strategy.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**As this is a new role, responsibilities will be developed and finalised over time and will include, but not be restricted to**:

- Working with the internal communications team to plan and deliver effective internal communications and engagement activities
- Publishing regular communications to everyone at Channel 4 through a range of online channels, ensuring ease of access, clarity and consistency
- Supporting the implementation and integration of new digital communications channels.
- Reporting on the use of our channels via regular measurement reports
- Supporting with the logistics and delegate management of internal events

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- Comfortable using a variety of different systems and software
- Proactive approach with strong ‘self-starter’ mentality
- Ability to manage own time effectively
- Great team player
- 1-2 years office experience
- Excellent spelling and grammar
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High level of oral and written communication skills with strong editing and proof-reading skills
- Strong diplomacy skills

**DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- Internal communications experience
- Experience of using an intranet content management system
- Experience of using adobe design software
