**Duties**:
- Assess and inspect damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for repair costs, including parts, labour, and materials
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to review estimates and negotiate repair costs
- Order necessary parts and materials for repairs
- Coordinate with technicians and other staff to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicle repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, repairs, and customer interactions
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and procedures
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in body repair work
- Ability to accurately assess damage and determine repair needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
Note: This position may require heavy lifting at times.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £42,107.85-£54,978.65 per year
