If you’re a positive individual that just wants to grow, read on, this could be for you We’re looking for a Apprentice Transport Specialist to work Monday to Friday, based at our site in Walsall, within our International Transport business unit. Duties include: arranging the export clearance of standard EU shipments, processing the paperwork and moving at pace to ensure zero delay deliveries.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

- Be proactive in identifying and resolving any potential routing issues before they occur - can you find creative solutions for complex problems?
- You will ensure all administrative duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism
- You will arrange the export clearance of standard EU shipments, processing the paperwork and moving at pace to ensure zero delay deliveries
- You will transfer various sources of data from customers documentation to our customs system
- You will communicate with border forces to ensure seamless border crossing
- You will assist in weekly and monthly KPI as set by the business and/or Customer
- You will ensure that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information both internally and externally as required e.g. Dealing with customer / supplier issues etc.

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**
- A level 2 Apprenticeship in Supply Chain Operator Level 2 (Traffic Office)
- Functional Skills in math and English, if required
- You will have monthly 3 hour visits with your tutor in the workplace.

- An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence.
- Potential for full time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

**Annual wage**

£19,000

we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) You’ll have access to, a workplace pension and many other benefits.

**Working week**

Monday to Friday 8-4pm with some flexibility to suit business needs.

Total hours per week: 37.5 hours a week

**Expected duration**

12 Months
