**Parts Controller - Prestige Paint & Body Repair Centre**
**Up to £36,850 per annum**
45 hours per week
Location: Cirencester GL7

**About the role**

As part of an experienced team, you will
- Identify and order parts through a variety of sources (Inc. main dealers; trade outlets; salvage operators etc.)
- Job costing (FP)
- Manage stocks of components, paint and materials
- Receive, checking and placing parts in numbered bin locations
- Issuing parts to the shop floor
- Update stock records and manage paint and consumables via the company's computerised stock system
- Liaise with other departments, including reception and workshop control
- Ensure all customer enquiries are attended to professionally and in a timely manner
- Maintain a basic knowledge of Motofix services in order to answer basic sales and service enquiries
- Administer parts returns and communicate exceptional items to accounts teams
- General tidying and keeping the stores in good order
- You will play a pivotal role in site productivity, customer outcomes and margin performance.

**Skills/Experience & Qualifications**
- 3 years automotive parts experience
- Excellent customer manner (warm, friendly and helpful)
- Basic up selling skills
- Strong IT, admin and organisational skills
- Ability and willingness to learn and undertake other duties within the admin team

**What we look for**
- Ability to work as parts of a team with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge to sourcing parts from most suitable suppliers OE, Non-OE, Green etc.
- Ability to identify automotive parts correctly.
- Manage parts returns ensuring prompt recovery of parts credits.
- Manage internal stocks of parts, paint and dry goods.
- IT skills related to automotive parts systems.
