**Trainee Manager**
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring product Food Safety, product integrity, product quality is maintained, and new legislation and codes of practice are implemented.
- The general adherence of working procedures by all staff, and the communication of work instruction to all staff.
- Liaison with Managers, supervisors and other senior staff to ensure factory standards and process control are implemented and maintained continuously, including Hygiene and Housekeeping standards, including Personnel Hygiene.
- Ensure compliance to relevant procedures, accurate completion of relevant documents
- any deviation must be reported to Technical Department. Standards include HACCP, CCP/LCP.

**Trainee Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with all day to day operations and completing all assigned tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced staff members including participating in meetings and all learning opportunities
- Preparing documents and updating records
- Liaising with supervisors and team leaders to monitor any quality issues to prevent standards being compromised.
- Resolving any non conformances or process deviations through following root cause analysis investigations.
- Ensuring comprehensive traceability control
- Research ways to increase profitability and lower risk
- Working across the High Risk, Low Risk and Dispatch departments ensuring all targets are met and participating in daily operations.
- Learn about conflict resolutions
- Gaining knowledge of company policies, HACCP, operational procedures and processes.

**Trainee Manager**
**Accountabilities**The Trainee Manager is responsible to the Directors, the Factory Manager, the Technical Manager and to the legal requirements of any law that impacts upon the process that they supervise.
The Trainee manager has personal responsibility under the various Acts and Regulations such as:

- The Food Safety Act 1990
- The Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006
- Health & Safety at Work Act 1999
- Country of Origin 2011
- Food Information Regulations 2014
- Materials and Articles in Contact with Food Regulations 2012
- The Weights and Measures Act 1985
- Regulation (EC) 852/2004 - Hygiene of foodstuffs
- Regulation 834/2007 - Organic production and labelling of organic products

**Essential experience/qualifications**:

- Must have relevant work experience within the food manufacturing industry
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant food industry regulations and standards
- Must be ambitious and motivated to learn and develop
