**ABOUT THE JOB**

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to work in a small team delivering reception and meeting room services at our two Cambridge sites. This is a great opportunity for you to use your reception / front of house experience to cover a variety of duties including:

- Providing five-star customer service, welcoming and booking-in visitors to the building
- Handling enquiries, including operating the switchboard
- Post management
- Supporting with administrative tasks
- Assisting with Health and Safety compliance

**Location**
The role is based predominantly at NIAB HQ, Cambridge CB3 0LE and occasionally at NIAB, Park Farm, Histon, CB24 9NZ. A full driving licence or access to independent means of transport is desirable.

**Essential requirements**
Ideally you will have:

- Experience in reception / front of house, customer service and administration
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Good IT skills (preferably MS Office) including using computerised information systems
- Be proactive, self-motivated and confident about working without direct supervision
