JD Sports is in search of a Head Of Retail to aid in the expansion of our stores in Northern Europe. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and performance of our Retail Teams in Northern Europe
- Job Title - Head Of Retail
- Location - Northern Europe (Field Based)
- Working hours - Full Time (40 Hours)

**What You'll Be Doing**:
As a Head of Retail, you'll be doing the following:

- Responsible for the growth of Northern Europe region retail sales. Supporting the Central EU Associate Director and working in strategic partnership across all HQ Based functions (Marketing, Buying, Merchandising, Finance, HR, Property).
- Demonstrate sales achievements in line with forecasted targets. Deliver best in class store operations, team development, brand presentation and customer experience.
- Manage the Northern Europe region Retail Budget P&L with alignment to the overall JD Retail strategy. Ensure budgets and manageable costs are controlled and that net profits are met at store, area and regional level.
- Build, develop and coach a high performing senior retail team, dedicated to quality, innovation, operational excellence and best practice across the North Region
- Ensure retail excellence in operations standards, which reflect global JD guidelines to ensure efficiency of operations and a positive customer experience

**What We're Looking For**:

- Experience of working in a senior management position within a retail environment is required
- Exceptional leadership qualities and experience of managing a large and diverse team.
- Evidence of strong drive to achieve results through others
- Ability to demonstrate a strong commercial awareness
- Travel will be essential for this role
