**Hazel Tree Education are supporting a unique school based in the West Lancashire District.**

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties on a full-time basis.

It is a purpose built school with facilities designed to support learners towards success. The school boasts a fantastic staff team, who are committed to improving the life chances for their learners. With high expectations, they aspire for pupils to flourish and succeed socially, emotionally and academically.

With a personalised curriculum, the school builds upon their learners interests, strengths and learning styles.

Working closely with learners, in small intervention groups or 1:1 you will;
- Implement structured learning activities for individuals and groups of pupils
- Undertake activities in order to monitor the personal social and emotional needs of pupils
- Develop positive relationships with pupils to promote pupil progress and attainment
- Assist in devising pupils targets and their monitoring and review
- Support pupils as part of a planned inclusion programme
- Implement a specific programme with individual pupils or groups appropriate to the developmental needs of the individual throughout different curriculum areas.
