**The Job You’ll Do;**
- Working as a Design Engineer within the Product Development team.
- Sustain and improve existing products lines, including yield improvements and cost reduction, whilst providing technical support within the Engineering Department.
- Plan and execute the introduction of new products in accordance with the NPI procedure, through the design & development phase and operational areas, into the production phase.
- Production of procurement and manufacturing drawings and specifications
- Work with the sales and business development team in the support of new business opportunities.
- Support existing product lines and processes throughout the entire life cycle.
- Support the execution of the business strategic plan and keep abreast of new technologies and business opportunities.
- Ensure safe working practices are adopted and health and safety legislation are adhered to when implementing new products, materials processes, or equipment.
- On occasion, this role may require visits to customers or suppliers and may also involve foreign travel.

**About You;**
- Experience in both mechanical & electrical/electronics CAD design and performing thermal, mechanical, and electrical simulations
- Knowledge or experience working within a Manufacturing/Product Design environment.
- Experience in Design of Experiments, 8D and data analysis
- Process development and documentation
- Project planning/management
- Good interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and influence across all levels of the business
