As a Business Manager, your main role will be to provide support to Business Management functions within Finance with the aim of delivering a consistent, simplified, and optimal service offering that provides solid business partnerships to the function/TClead that it supports. The Business Management team will serve as the single point of contact for all business-related activities, and you will collaborate with the Finance Business partner on cost-cutting priorities on behalf of their stakeholders.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Supporting the business manager in providing insights & commentary of current & Outlook workforce reporting with clear linkages to drivers (inc. weekly & QBR)
- Supporting business manager on engagement with AEs on current resource position and then help drive the resource strategy implementation (payroll mix, EOY targets etc.)
- Assisting the business manager in delivering to the transaction cycle or function lead ensuring compliance to the group wide governance and control framework
- Working within and maintaining a culture in which trust and mutual respect are valued, challenging people and systems that do not support
- Developing a solid understanding of the firm's strategy, complementing this with a tailored business to be implemented on behalf of the Business Manager /Function Head
- Supporting the transaction cycle operating model design across the transaction cycle/ business, (inc. working alongside HR and business with spans and Layers etc)
- Supporting the production of the transaction cycle weekly's, QBRs, MBRs etc
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements
**What we're looking for**:

- Extensive experience in a business management function with an excellent understanding of working with leaders on a day-to-day basis
- Experience in operating in a multi-geographic, matrix organisation a plus, with proven ability to balance commercial, client, and regulatory needs globally
- Attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills a must and excellent communication skills
**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Degree qualification and experience in financial services; on an international scale preferred
- Ability to balance multiple critical requests from various stakeholders and prioritise in the right order
- Ability to drive and execute deliverables in short time frames and work with limited supervision and able to thrive in a challenging and ever changing environment
- Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels and geographies of the organization
**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command center and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful greenenvironment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
