An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the rapidly expanding AMRC group as Technical Fellow - Additive Manufacturing at the new AMRC North West facility on the Samlesbury Enterprise Zone near Blackburn.
This Technical Fellow job role carries the responsibility to lead a key technology area and research team at the AMRC NW: Additive Manufacturing. Within this role, you will take overall responsibility for the technical outputs from projects within the Additive Manufacturing involving design, process simulation, material characterization, process monitoring/control, testing/validation, AM processes and post-processes (heat treatments, machining, surface finishing, etc.).
You should have a proven track record of technical delivery when leading development projects, and the ability to manage industrial and government stakeholders. The results of previous work should demonstrate the ability to manage people and allocate resources across a range of projects to achieve the technical deliveries of the group.
**You will**:
- Have a good degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline.
- A good grasp of engineering and/or scientific principles related to Additive Manufacturing
- Have hands-on work experience within a practical environment in Additive Manufacturing and post-processes

You will work within the AMRC North West facility and will report to the Head of AM.
