**THE JOB**

I am a lady in Jedburgh and I require an additional support worker to join my existing team. The
support I require will enable me to live as full and safe a life as possible in my own home and will
include personal care as well as social support and some household tasks. I have 2 cats and I am a
smoker.

**DUTIES TO INCLUDE
- Assisting me with personal care as required.
- Assisting me to and from the bathroom.
- Assisting with meal planning and preparation, including occasional bulk cooking.
- Shopping.
- Keeping the house as clean as possible as I have a compromised immune system.
- Assisting me to get to the raised beds in my garden and other support in the garden.
- Other duties may be required out with your job description, but no unreasonable requests will

be made.

**THE PERSON
- Ability to listen to my directions as I know my own disability and personal limitations.
- Caring and sensitive to the problems a disability can have.
- Able to work your own or as part of a team.
- Honest, reliable and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Must like animals.
- Access to your own vehicle would be a bonus, but not essential.

**TERMS OF THE ROLE - 16 hours per week
- Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week.
- 10.00a.m until 2.00p.m each day.
- £13.50 per hour.
- 6 weeks annual leave pro rata.
- Use of mobile phones when working with the client to be limited to emergency use only.
