We are looking to recruit a Flexible Home Support Worker based in the Child and Family Support Team. This post is 30 hours and can be flexible over 4 or 5 days.

About the role
Flexible Home Support is a Swansea wide service targeted at preventing family breakdown and provides direct and practical support to children and their families through personal and social care tasks and can include personal care. Before and after school, along with early evenings can be a particularly busy time for us.

We also provide support to parents to help develop practical parenting skills, develop routines, put in coping strategies, and empower them to make changes to be the best they can be for them and their family.

You will need to hold a valid UK driving license and have access to your own car for work.

Who we are looking for
If you have previously worked with children or have a childcare qualification in any capacity and share our values, we would love to hear from you.
Have you previously been a football/sports coach, volunteer at your child's club or maybe a teaching assistant? Perhaps you're looking for a change in career? Have you previously been a nursery worker, child minder or worked in a childcare setting?
Perhaps you have experience with working with older children at youth clubs or are a parent yourself and can see this role as a fit for you as you'll have the transferable skills for the role.
