We’re working with a large independent, integrated agency looking for an experienced and talented Head of Programmatic to lead their programmatic function.

**Our Client**

They work across Media, Creative and Technology for a number of large clients across varied sectors. With over 100 staff, they are predominantly remote but you should be able to get into their Manchester office at least once a month, but some staff do go in weekly. They give their people freedom to do their best possible work and value entrepreneurial and collaborative people that they can help empower to succeed.

**The Role**

You’ll be leading and building out the programmatic proposition for their clients (programmatic products include Audio, BVOD, CTV, Display, OOH and Video). Within this role, you will be accountable for building and leading a team, which currently sits at 9, and you will be people focused and proactively develop the team, ensuring that they are working towards company goals and objectives. The role will be client facing and have a strategic, commercial and operational focus, taking ownership and responsibility for the programmatic function, as well as creating a productive work environment for the team using gamification, trust and other appropriate strategies.

**You**

You will have extensive experience across programmatic with a track record of successful development and implementation of programmatic strategies for a variety of clients, with significant people and commercial leadership within a similar agency environment. A strategic thinker, you’ll excel in client facing situations, whether that be leading existing clients into new areas or contributing to pitches. You’ll be strong at building client relationships, able to spot opportunities for client growth and ultimately the growth of the programmatic function. A leader that is empathetic and inspiring, you’ll be adept at developing your team’s skills and encouraging them to contribute positively to the team’s success.

The team you will be managing are based out of Manchester, and so ideally you will be based around the North West, however they are happy for someone to based further afield, if you are happy to pay to travel to Manchester once a month.
