This role will be responsible for delivering high quality data reporting to a range of monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines for internal and external stakeholders.

**FUNCTIONS OF POST**:

- To ensure all data associated with regulatory submissions is accurate, of high quality and ready for submission in a timely manner meeting internal and external deadlines.
- To work with the ICT and Operations teams, Data Analyst, and other team members to enable effective reporting and evaluation across Open Awards.
- To contribute to the development and maintenance of the Open Awards database and systems to ensure dissemination of information to recognised providers and Open Awards staff.
- To ensure that a high level of data quality is maintained across all aspects of Open Awards services.
- To maintain Open Awards’ information in regulators’, and other stakeholders’, databases and portals.

This role sits within the Quality & Standards team and is responsible for the preparation of data submissions for reporting to Open Awards’ regulators and partners, including: Ofqual; QAA; QIW; Charities Commission; ESFA; and IfATE.
- To implement internal processes for the management of external reporting requirements to consistently ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- To lead on data cleansing activities and monitoring checks across internal and external databases to ensure the quality and accuracy of data.
- To identify innovative ways of working to improve data throughput, communication of report findings and analysis.
- To provide training to colleagues on Open Awards’ database and systems and to disseminate information to assist them in their job roles.
- To develop and maintain policies and procedures for the use of data systems, security of data and recovery of data held by Open Awards, including user access protocols.
- Manage staff as required to meet team objectives in accordance with the tasks set out in the job description
