**Position summary**:
Reporting into the UK Project Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator is the liaison between the operations office, suppliers and the shopfloor. The purpose is to meet customer’s expectations in terms of quality and service through a strong cost efficient service driven approach.

**Main duties**:

- Develops and maintains a database of suppliers to provide full multi-functionality, cost efficient make or buy solutions and multi-source strategy for toughening, floats, c/p, DGUs, chemicals, consumables, packing.
- Keep updated UK Project Make or Buy Matrix, and float supplier matrix.
- Carry out weekly inventory of all Raw Material stocks
- Weekly reporting of stock KPIs
- Following purchasing plans and using the supplier matrices, raise and follow up purchase orders for Raw Materials keeping stock within defined levels at optimum purchase prices
- Work with Production Scheduler and Supply Chain Manager to source counterpanes and outsourcing solutions
- Raise and follow purchase orders for external toughening, external c/p and outsourced DGU.
- Raise and follow transport order for inbounds delivery and DGU orders.
- Double check OI (interco orders).
- Follow DoA guidelines and control cost.
- Finance
- review of supplier purchasing/ invoicing and statements for UK Project operations.
- Trackers
- ensure all production trackers are updated by the close of play Friday.
- Support Supply Chain Manager to complete end of month stock takes.
- Assist the Production Scheduler to satisfy customer demands and meet OTD targets
- Provide cover for the Production Scheduler during holidays and absences.
- Assist the Production Scheduler with daily production priority lists and QC/logistics hit list. Interface with the production to follow priorities, WIP management, remakes, missing scans, missing glasses, liaising with kitting/ operator, production supervisor, production coordinator and logistics process leader.
- Assist with resolving the daily job list discrepancies with production scheduler and kiting operators.
- Assist with the Management of remakes and flyers efficiently to prevent any customer delays and optimise OTD

**Knowledge, skills and abilities**:

- Experience in Purchasing and suppliers negotiations.
- Analytical and organization skills
- Comfortable to work under pressure
- Problem solving ability

**You are likely to have received an education or be competent in**:

- 2 year experience working in purchasing
- MS Office: Word, Excel, Sage Line 500, CRM

**Salary**: Up to £350,000.00 per year
