This is a rare opportunity for a talented individual to join the high performing, Legal Safeguarding team in Cheshire West and Chester.

The post holder will be required to develop the ability to provide high quality legal advice to Social Work colleagues to ensure the statutory duties of the Council are met and vulnerable adults in the Borough are protected.

The role is offered on a part time (4 days a week) fixed term basis until end of March 2025

Grade 7- (SCP 17- 23) £28,770- £32,076 (pro rata per annum)

Grade 8- (SCP 23- 28) £32,076- £36,648 (pro rata per annum)

Legal Services is a busy, supportive team. This role offers an interesting and varied workload and the support and encouragement to develop your potential. Our core values are those of the Council - Teamwork, Honesty, Respect, Innovation, Value for Money and Empowerment.

We are a hybrid team predominantly working from home, but you will need to attend the office weekly for an office day and on other occasions as required. The Council offers generous leave allowances (26 rising to 31 days a year) and excellent pension provision and flexible working.
