IT Infrastructure Manager

Working with a fantastic organisation in Birmingham (1 day a week on site) looking for a permanent IT Infrastructure Manger paying c£55,000 base + excellent benefits 12.5% pension contribution and 30 days holiday,
This is a hands-on role to manage and support the Azure Cloud and on-premises infrastructure and associated resources through the operational life cycle. You will lead from the front to deliver great customer service to colleagues across the business and helpthem solve their technology issues. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, including the design, implementation, and monitoring of the systems, ensuring efficient and effective operation of our support teams whilst striving for continuousimprovement in align with our processes.
As IT infrastructure Manager you will be responsible for the development, mentoring and support of your team, ensuring a high quality of work across all engineers. You will also be responsible for the financial management of the public cloud environments, workingwith the Environment Management Group and will provide agreed KPI and management reporting information to senior members of ICT and business stakeholders.
In addition to this you will be required to manage third party providers and maintain a good working relationship with these suppliers.
Operating within the ITIL framework you will oversee all incidents, problems, service requests and changes within the team to drive issues through to satisfactory resolution whilst ensuring the integrity and security of the infrastructure is not compromised.
Manage and support the ICT Operations team to ensure a high level of work is maintained and a great customer experience
- Provide technical and leadership support for solutions deployed within the Cloud and on-premises environments
- Ensure compliance with agreed information security policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relevant technical documentation
- Provide technical expertise and assistance for project build and implementation
- Drive continual service improvement across the Service and Operations function
- Manage the provision of agreed 2nd and 3rd line support to the business
- Manage third party providers to deliver key Services
- Manage and report on agreed renewable resources within ICT
- Monitoring, ensuring Availability
- Produce Cost and Storage reporting
- Undertake regular 1 to 1's with direct reports to identify and track agreed individual objectives.
