A position has become available for a Commercial Manager

Reporting directly to the Business Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for introducing new business along with the equally important role of servicing and developing a strong existing client base.

You will be responsible for Business Development Planning and Strategy, working on the Commercial front taking product concept and design through to realisation, whilst working closely with the Operational team to achieve customer requirements.

**Essential job duties and responsibilities**:

- Driving new business development and increasing profitability
- Managing Sales Forecasting and delivering in line with budgeted sales and margins
- Generating and reporting market intelligence to develop growth strategies
- Provide first line technical service / support for the customer base
- Managing customer needs and expectations

**About you**:
Full clean driving licence
- Proven track record operating within B2B markets
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills with the ability to build long term relationships with customers
- Commercial awareness and the ability to development a business to meet both sales and operational needs
- Self-motivated and possess the hunger to succeed in a fast moving and highly competitive environment
- Preferable experience within the flexible Polyurethane / foam conversion industries or within one of the markets sectors supplied into
- Experience with Sage would be beneficial

**Hours of Work**
- Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm (40hrs per week)
- Competitive salary p.a plus benefits including car allowance, company pension, plus bonus based on achieving agreed targets
