**Landing Gear Mechanical Engineer
Filton (Hybrid)
£50.00 - £55.00 per hour Umbrella
12 Months contract**
There will be opportunities to work across a range of products, avionics, landing gears, wheels, tyres and brakes, landing gear extension and retraction. These activities will include support to new equipment / systems design, upgrades to existing systems,addition of new functions and resolving existing issues to systems and equipment.
**What will be expected from you**:

- Involvement in and leading changes to systems functionality, software and hardware
changes including hydraulic equipment design.
- Interfacing with the Systems Certification Specialist and technical signatories
- Ensuring adherence to budget and schedule for each activity; managing and mitigating risks
- Managing the offloading of activities to sub-contract suppliers.
- Mentoring, coaching and developing others while acting as a role model.

**What we are looking for in you**:

- Hydro-mechanical structure experience
- Experience of systems design
- Aerospace experience - specifically Landing Gear (desirable)
