TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a General Practice Associate on behalf of our highly reputable and growing client based in Brighton, Our client is one of the most respected firms of chartered accountants in Sussex; they boast a fantastic reputation and have an exciting client base made up of clients within the entertainment sector. These include actors and artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and youtubers to name a few. You will have exposure to some fascinating work, servicing this prestigious client base.

**What the role would include**:

- Take responsibility for a portfolio of clients ranging from YouTubers to Models.
- To maintain positive client relationships proactively and seek to establish new client relationships and business contacts by marketing and networking for the firm.
- Planning, controlling, and review of assignments in an accurate, cost-effective, and timely manner.
- Manage and supervise the training and development of staff, providing regular feedback and conducting appraisals as required.
- Pro-actively present to the partners, ideas on how to improve processes and utilise new opportunities in legislation and technology

**Requirements**:

- Interested in working with our new media entrepreneurs
- ACCA or ACA with at least 5 years post qualified experience in practice
- Ambitious, curious and passionate about what you do and have strong communication and team working skills
- Organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated

**Benefits**:
**£63,000 - £67,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.**

As a key member of the team, a strong personal tax technical knowledge will be required, as well as excellent communication and management skills. This is a client facing role and there will be a requirement to support more junior members of the team, as well as assist in client advisory with the financial planners. The role will be split between compliance, where you will manage your own allocated client base, and advisory. As a Senior manager, you will be expected to help drive the growth and vision of the tax team. Essential Criteria CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified Wide variety of experience of income and capital taxes and personal and corporate tax planning in a small to medium-sized firms. Should have the qualities to deal with our clients who are high net worth individuals and owner managed businesses. Strong leadership and personnel management skills Excellent Microsoft word and advanced excel Experience with Microsoft Teams/Video Calls Proven experience in forming and maintaining client relationships Excellent analytical and time management skills with attention to detail Desirable Criteria 7 years’ experience within a tax role 2 years post qualification experience Knowledge of non UK domiciled taxation matter
