Talent Acquisition Specialist

DAI is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our busy Business Development Team. This will be a full-time, permanent role. The position will be based in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. Become part of the thriving DAI business, located in spacious, bespoke offices, 30 minutes out of Euston - with excellent rail and motorway links to London and region.
**Responsibilities**:
5. **Administration** : Produce, update, and provide support on complex MS documents, databases, and other departmental systems. Leverage your expertise to improve processes and offer guidance to colleagues when needed.
6. **Content Creation** : Skilfully write staffing sections for bids, prepare expert bios, and format high-quality CVs for experts in client-compliant formats. Craft and edit job adverts in alignment with organizational style guidelines for publication on relevant platforms.
7. **External Consultant or Contractor Engagement** : Actively participate in the selection of external consultants or advisors for key projects. Ensure a clear understanding of business objectives and requirements, diligently monitor outcomes, and take appropriate remedial action when necessary.
9. **Employee Onboarding and Offboarding** : Facilitate a range of onboarding and offboarding procedures, including obtaining references and conducting basic vetting procedures, to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely processes.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Possess a university degree (preferably in Recruitment/HR or International Development) or equivalent work experience.
- **Experience**: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in International Development or specialized technical recruitment. Display the ability to work independently.
- **Skills**: Exhibit strong verbal communication skills, proficiency in resourcing and workforce planning, effective presentation abilities, in-depth knowledge of policy and procedures, computer proficiency, understanding of policy and regulations, negotiation skills, action planning capabilities, and assessment expertise.
