Job Introduction
As a **Residential Security Assistant **at** St Josephs, Approved Premises.** No two days are the same and your actions will directly impact the safety and security of the residents and building, This residence is home to ex-offenders, So you'll be improving the quality of life for all you meet Join Sodexo and be part of something greater, You'll belong to a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.

**What you’ll do**:

- Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols, also ensure that the safety and environment for our residents is of our highest priority.
- Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting
- Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff
- To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift

**What you bring**:

- Ability to interact with staff, residents, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities
- Must be over the age of 18
- Standard SIA License is needed
- Excellent communication and awareness skills
- Experience in working in a similar
- Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
- Due to the nature of the site, The premises are residential units which house ex-offenders in the community
