**ROLE SUMARY**
This role will support delivery of the mental health strategy working with colleagues across the three principal stakeholders: UK Sport, The English Institute of Sport (EIS) and the Sport National Governing Body (NGB) World Class Programmes (WCP).
The EIS Mental Health Team’s purpose is to promote a sustainable High-Performance System where all people have the best opportunity to have positive mental health and ensure there is appropriate support for those experiencing mental health problems. This will be achieved by focusing on four priority areas: Plan, Deliver, Learn and Assure.
Due to the nature of the role, you may be required to work outside normal office hours at evenings and weekends and on public holidays. Some travel will be required with this role so applicants need to be able to be flexible to accommodate this.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead on the successful delivery of the learn element of the EIS mental health strategy. This will include the development, delivery, evaluation and monitoring of mental health education across the High-Performance System
- Oversee the mental health request tracking system to maintain up-to-date records of requests to access the EIS Mental Health Team (including the Mental Health Expert Panel) for support
- Being a point of contact for the High-Performance System on matters relating to mental health
- Project management and the development of resources and materials to support the delivery of mental health education and related mental health team activity
- Leading all communications-related activity for the EIS Mental Health Team, including the systematic identification of best practice identified from and disseminated across the High-Performance System
- Use initiative to keep up to date with latest mental health advice from third party organisations
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£34,500.00 per year
