We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Controller to join our team. As a Quality Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills will be crucial in identifying any issues or defects in our production process.

**Responsibilities**:
**To maintain excellent standards of personal and environmental hygiene at all times**

**Assessment of raw material with production of related reports and guidance to business relating to ongoing use (e.g. advising Technical, Commercial and Packhouse management)**

**Inspection of finished product, and production of related reports, to ensure the standards specified by the customer or recognised marketing standards (UK / EU) are achieved**

**Selection and monitoring of shelf life samples**

**To monitor and report on observations relating to hygiene standards and practices in all areas**

**To be responsible for the health and safety of self and others**

**To understand the meaning and importance of food safety culture**

**Report machine faults and other defective items / equipment to the Site Manager, Quality Manager or Technical Managers**

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
- Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) guidelines is a plus
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay: £12.42-£13.42 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
