To provide guidance, support and professional leadership to all nursing staff within the Trust promoting confidence in the Critical Care Service. To provide a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. To initiate, implement and evaluate quality control methods as appropriate to the theatre department. To manage Control of Infection in Theatres with support from the Senior Infection Control Nurse, reporting any problems affecting the unit.
