Education World are working in partnership with a specialist provision in the Stockton area who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant.

This position requires you to support the teaching and learning of pupils. You will work closely alongside the class teacher to support pupils with their learning and well-being including whole classroom, 1:1 and small group environments.
Your role will involve you supporting children with Autism, ADHD and behavioural challenges. Therefore having strong behaviour management skills is essential to succeed.
- Have experience either working in an SEN environment, have a Understanding Autism certification or equivalent experience.
- Have experience working with children & young adults with additional needs.
- Have a positive can-do attitude.
- Be able to support the students with day to day activities while helping them to learn and adapt to the learning environment.
- Have excellent behaviour management skills.
- Be confident the can ensure all pupils reach their fullest potential.
