**OVERVIEW**

The MacRobert Trust is unique. Established in 1954, The MacRobert Trust is a charitable organisation which is based in Tarland, Aberdeenshire. Its activities are wide and varied. The Trust manages a diverse estate which includes: a successful country house hotel (Douneside House and its Royal Horticulture Society accredited gardens), residential, agricultural and commercial property, and forestry operations.

Through its income from a long-standing endowment and estate activities, The MacRobert Trust is also a grant funder, providing charitable grants to organisations throughout the UK. The Trust also undertakes a wide variety of charitable work within its estate, including apprenticeships and training programmes, biodiversity and environmental projects, and conservation/community engagement. In total, The MacRobert Trust’s charitable activity extends to > £1m each year.

The organisation has grown significantly in recent years, and now employs > 60 team members in a wide variety of roles: from estate management, hotel and health club employees, gardens, and office and charity support functions.

This will include activities such as:

- Accurately processing invoices, ensuring that they are ready for payment in a timely manner.
- Daily banking & voucher reconciliation
- Monthly stock counts and reconciliation
- Bank cash ups and reconciliations
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Office administration, such as filing, minute taking and other tasks.
- Liaising with external suppliers to ensure accounts are kept up to date and paid in accordance with credit terms.
- Being first point of contact in the office - greeting visitors, answering telephones and general office duties.

This list is not exhaustive, you may be asked to undertake other duties in line with this role, and assisting with ad hoc projects from time to time.

This role is 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Some flexibility is available regarding working hours.

**Salary**: £20,000.00 per year
