The Godolphin and Latymer School is one of the country’s leading independent day schools for girls, located on a six acre site in Hammersmith, London. The School’s facilities are excellent, making it an exciting place to learn and work. We currently seek to appoint a Premises Assistant to work on a permanent and full time basis, on an alternating shift pattern with regular overtime and as part of a rota for emergency call-outs.

Godolphin and Latymer is a very busy school, both during the daytime and after-school throughout the year. A wide variety of events take place outside of normal school hours, primarily during evenings and weekends and the occasional bank holiday, all of which require overtime to be worked and shared equally between the team.

Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary, however, applicants will need the basic relevant skills and the ability to fulfil the needs of the role. Full training will be provided to the appointed post-holder. The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.

The start date will be as soon as possible on the completion of all required pre-employment checks.

All staff working in the School during the school day will have some contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity. In this role you are unlikely to be working with children directly but will regularly interact with pupils who may seek your assistance or otherwise interact with you when moving around the school.
