InterQuest are delighted to be working with one of our most prestigious clients who are an industry leader in the software sector, supporting them with the recruitment of a Accounts Administrator to join their thriving in Birmingham where there is a 50% hybrid working in place. The role will pay a competitive salary (available on request).

This role is designed to keep the crucial back-end activities of the business running as efficiently as possible by assigning the accountability of these vital activities to a single person. These activities include tracking and chasing the required paperwork, governance signoffs and purchase orders are in place for all projects and support activities ahead of our client undertaking any of them, invoicing for work completed, support in providing the information required for them to approve invoices coming into them and collecting and inputting the data required to submit end of month finance information.

**What is expected of the Accounts Administrator?**
- Execute the purchase order processes and own the invoicing processes that enable the business to get paid for the work that they carry out for end customers and those that allow them to extract and submit the required information to finance monthly
- Be accountable for tracking the status and for the timely completion of: the required paperwork, governance signoffs and purchase orders for upcoming projects
- Be accountable for raising the invoices for work completed by the projects
- Be accountable for escalating any work at risk or potential work at risk
- Be accountable for collating and providing end of month reporting data to submit to finance
- Support in raising drafts of paperwork to enable others in the team to complete the processes faster
