**Job Description**:
A highly ranked and well respected international professional services firm is looking for an additional legal counsel for its in house legal team within its Group function
The Location
This role can be based in London or ANY of the UK offices. This role can provide fully remote working (if desired) with the occasional trip to London. The hiring manager is also open to discussions around condensed or adjusted working hours (to accommodatechildcare responsibilities for example). The main priority is that this individual can work independently and confidently.
The Role
As a Legal Counsel your duties include:

- Drafting and negotiating agreements with clients and third parties e.g. NDAS, reliance letters, non-reliance letters, and letters of engagement.
- Drafting, considering, and negotiating supplier contracts with the Procurement team;
- Drafting and considering intra-group agreements;
- Liaising with the HR team in relation to employment contracts and other HR matters;
- Reviewing and assessing client complaints and preparing responses to the same;
- Liaising with external counsel where required;
- Record keeping and reporting on activities.

The Team
The legal team is small and dynamic providing expert advice across the group. They work alongside fee-earners and all non-fee-earning teams. They have a very wide remit and therefore are exposed to very varied and interesting work. The Legal and Complianceteam is supportive and collaborative, recognising that everyone brings a different wealth of skills and experience to the business.
**Skills & Experience**:

- A UK-qualified solicitor (mandatory)
- Broad levels of experience will be considered - 2-10 years PQE
- Expertise in litigation (preferably professional negligence claims) and/or employment law (ideally contentious work) is preferable.
- A self-driven individual capable of working effectively independently and as part of a team.
- An ability to prioritise appropriately, to work under pressure, and with competing deadlines is essential.
