**Senior Finance Business Partner - Full Time, Permanent - £64,314 per annum - Chelmsford / Hybrid**

VNA have partnered with a Government organisation who are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support them on a Full Time, Permanent basis. The role is based in Chelmsford. However, you are permitted to work remotely. This is anexciting time to join this growing organisation as they are going through an exciting period of growth.

**Responsibilities**:
Some of your duties and responsibilities as Senior Finance Business Partner will include:

- To deliver on all aspects of Financial advice and services within a service area
- Ensure financial support is provided across all levels
- Understand all financial assets, liabilities and priorities for business operation (revenue, capital, funding streams & debt) & present options to senior managers to drive change and improve efficiency to meet strategic objectives.
- Partner and support Directors and stakeholders to carry out financial performance management, pricing, and investment analysis. In addition, support the business planning process by advising senior managers and supporting the maximisation of external funding
- Support business development by using insightful predictive analytics, optimising financial modelling and commercial acumen.
- Support cross organisational projects and ensure the best commercial & value considerations to drive transparent and robust decision making. This support will involve detailed analysis and interpretation in communicating financial and performance data tosupport evidence-based decisions.
- Work collaboratively with other Senior Finance Business Partners and Management Accountants in the development and review of financial policy and plans ensuring they reflect the organisations strategic objectives and promote continuous improvement
- Promote delivery of value for money services, as evidenced by benchmarked cost driver comparators to analyse financial trends and drive efficiencies. Develop networks with best-in-class peers.
- Support timely preparation of robust business cases & decision-making documents by quantifying associated costs, benefits, risks, and funding solutions, being solely accountable for the financial implications
- Responsible for compliance with financial regulations and professional accounting standards and financial impact assessments relating to changes in legislation or service initiatives Dimensions

**Requirements**:

- CCAB / CIMA qualification with minimum of 2 years post qualification experience and evidence of continuing professional development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Provide financial advice to inform complex decision making.
- Directly influence the improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Evaluate and support innovative and effective means of financing the long-term delivery of large-scale services.
- Demonstrate experience of working with and influencing members and / or executives, as well as, multi-disciplinary teams to achieve service outcomes.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Extensive experience of strong leadership skills and ability to demonstrate credibility, promoting good financial management practice within the business.
