We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to join our dynamic team.

AB Texel UK Ltd transports agricultural bulk goods, mainly potatoes, to the factory. Our Customer Service Assistant plays an important part in the process of getting the products we transport to the final customers and in ensuring we deliver a high level of customer service.

We have modern equipment and new employees receive thorough training with us. They are trained and intensively supported and supervised by an experienced AB colleague who can teach them all the tricks of our specific trade. Our new employees only begin to work independently once they have achieved our high standards and built-up sufficient experience. Because only then are these employees are able to call themselves true AB specialists.

As a Customer Service Assistant you will be responsible for maintaining and developing customer relations, communicating with customers and growers, debriefing drivers as well as working on a reactive basis, resolving any issues that arise.

You will also be required to carry out the following (this list is not exhaustive):

- Keeping an eye on the day, using our Vehicle Tracking system, to promptly be able to establish any issues that may arise.
- Problem solve any issues that may arise.
- Liaise and organise with the workshop, the planners and drivers to ensure compliance is met.
- Assist with our customs requirements and International paperwork.
- Liaise with planners, customers, clients and drivers.
- Data input including the input of customer orders

**Who are you?**

Our ideal Customer Service Assistant:
If you have a transport or customer service background, with attention to detail, strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering a high level of customer service, you could be the person we’re looking for, to join our growing team.

Ideally you would have:

- Previous experience within a transport or customer service role, with a good understanding of transport.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- IT literate
- Attention to detail
- You can work well as part of a team and/or on your own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to prioritise, multitask and manage your workload.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
