We are working with **a leading global gift brand** who sell their iconic products to leading retailers globally. They are looking for an experienced, analytical and commercial **Demand Planner** to join their friendly team

**Duties as Demand Planner will include**:

- Ownership of stock inventory and forecasts for all warehouses across the UK and worldwide
- Creating sales forecasts for all markets by generating and analysing data, looking at historical sales, the market, current trends etc. to inform decision making
- Liaising closely with Sales, eCommerce, Product, and Marketing teams, managing inventory and stock flow, paying close attention to core products, best sellers, and slow-moving stock
- Looking at the forecasting process, continually striving to improve processes and efficiencies by analysing performance and accuracy
- Responsible for the bi-weekly stock and purchasing report presenting to the director for sign-off
- Advising and supporting the distributor delivery process to maximise efficiency, deadlines and cost reductions across the full product portfolio
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure lead times are communicated accurately to ensure optimum stock flow through the business
- Gatekeeper and owner of all customer stock requirements, working with the sales team on priority stock, shortages and large volume orders to support seasonal launches
- Working with production, sales and logistics to ensure the smooth flow of orders right through to delivery deadlines
- Monitoring, reporting and managing of discontinued lines, advising on processes and ideas to minimise costs
- Supporting the business with required inventory and purchasing support

**Skills & qualities for this Demand Planner position include**:

- Solid experience as either a Demand Planner or Merchandiser is essential
- Experience working with large volumes and fast-moving consumer goods
- Highly analytical, accurate and commercial whilst demonstrating a passion for product and consumer goods
- Experience managing the WISSI and OTB process, with strong Excel skills
- Deadline driven, with solid critical path management experience, working to deadlines and budgets
- A skilled multi-tasker, with excellent organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced role
- Personable and approachable personality with a positive attitude and enjoys working in a team
- Proactive, with the ability to foresee problems and overcome these confidently and effectively
