**Supply Chain Demand Planner**:
SSP is a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide, with c.42,000 colleagues in over 600 locations across 36 countries. We operate sit-down and quick service restaurants, cafes, lounges and food-led convenience stores, principally in airports and train stations, with a portfolio of around 550 international, national and local brands.

**About the Role**:
Working within the Purchasing & Supply chain team the demand planner will be responsible for product forecasting, monitor demand and accuracy of forecast and generating ordering compliance reports.

Support the business manage day to day product supply including supporting with new product promotions & range changes, whilst minimising waste by effective stock clearance planning.

key aspect of this role is for effective product planning to ensure product availability, through the correct supply route consistently.

The demand planner will be an effective communicator at all levels, and will be expected to generate reports and complete presentations to the senior management team.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Develop accurate demand forecasts using statistical, analytical, and historical data.
- Create product trend analysis using historical demand trends and other driving factors such as seasonality and location.
- Working and collaborating with cross functional teams to understand product requirements, to successfully plan new product promotions/LTO’s/product range changes including stock clearance planning.
- Stock Management.
- Monitor forecast vs sales/order intake, to create and maintain forecast accuracy reports.
- Endeavour to ensure products are available through the most appropriate route to market and create detailed compliance reporting.
- Liaise with Suppliers to ensure accurate data gathered to be able to report on KPI/service levels.
- Liaise with Operational teams to understand stock level issues.
- Pro-actively manage supply issues to support the wider team.
- Actively communicate and contribute to the wider team ensuring all stakeholders are aware and always informed.

**To be successful in the role you will need**:

- Min 2-3 years previous experience of working in a supply chain role
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivots Tables etc)
- Food background
- Excellent communication skills both written & oral.
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Attention to detail.
- Well organised and logical thinker
- Team Player
