Caritas Futures are looking for an experienced Children and Young People Worker to join a fantastic charity at Nottingham location.

Role Purpose:

- The role purpose is to provide intensive one-to-one support to young people
- Experiencing a range of needs. to be the main point of contact for young people providing tailored and structured support enabling young people to access and build networks, navigate challenges, and develop life skills. To work with the team to generate systemic change; influencing systems that create additional barriers to the lives of young people.

**Requirements**:

- Direct work with young people experiencing disadvantage
- A professional qualification working with young people or a demonstrable strong work-based knowledge
- Knowledge of key principles in relation to safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection, and professional boundaries
- Knowledge of professional networks, Social Care, CAHMS, Schools, YOS, Youth Service, Housing, Benefits and how these operate
- Ability to listen to and communicate effectively with young people and adults - verbally and in written form
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and across networks to achieve outcomes
