About the Job
We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our client's District Child Protection Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for undertaking various assessments and tasks to support the welfare of children and families in need.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, a recognised qualification, and at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with partnership agencies.

The hourly rate for this position is £38 per hour umbrella, providing a competitive income. You will work in a professional and vibrant environment, contributing to the well-being of children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake assessments using the Common Assessment Framework
* Provide Section 17 support to families and children in need
* Carry out home visits for monitoring purposes/to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
* Liaise/Work close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/young peoples needs
* Prepare and present case conference reports
