Be part of a vital and high-profile team delivering security of electricity supply for Great Britain. The role is critical in ensuring we are successful in our Delivery Body role of managing the Capacity Market and Contracts for Difference auctions in line with required EMR Regulatory Framework and National Grid ESO Licence Conditions.

Working within the EMR Delivery Body team and externally with the government, Ofgem and other stakeholders, you will be responsible for identifying process improvements both internally and externally, whilst ensuring those changes maintain compliance to the EMR Rules and Regulations and the Allocation Framework, engage with our IT Change programme for future implementation changes and develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and delivery partners.

The philosophy of the EMR team is to provide team members with the opportunity to develop a wide range of skill sets across all aspects of EMR. We aim to develop team members who will have areas of primary focus and expertise but who will also be able to develop an appreciation of other aspects of the business and so will get involved in other areas of the business as the opportunities arise.

This role will be based in Warwick 2 days a week. We continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. This is a full-time role, and we offer flexible working arrangements.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Identify and drive forward process and customer journey improvements to improve how our customers perceive us and improve our incentive performance
- Identify and drive forward internal process changes to drive efficiency across the department
- Engage with EMR Colleagues to discuss potential process and rule changes
- Maintain compliance with the relevant Rules required for both the Capacity Market and Contracts for Difference schemes
- Develop effective working relationships with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Ofgem, key Delivery Partners and industry participants
- Working with the Strategy and Policy team to ensure relevant legislation and regulatory changes which impact the business are understood, communicated effectively, and implemented
- Present process changes proposals to EMR Management, Government, Ofgem, Delivery Partners and key industry groups and forums
- Produce data and analysis to support the implementation and operational changes of the Capacity Market and Contracts for Difference
- Engage with key members of the EMR team involved in the major IT change programme to feed requirements into relevant areas of development
- Effectively run the Change Advisory Board meeting
- Support other areas of EMR as business requirements arise

**About You**:

- Ability to successfully manage multiple activities and issues and continually prioritise workload
- Ability to identify improvements and develop a Project Plan to drive implementation
- Good Influencing and negotiation skills and seeks to continually improve
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external parties and seeks to continually improve
- Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good IT Skills - in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Track Record of Delivering Excellent Performance
- Working knowledge of the industry codes, licences and the EMR “Rules and Regulations” and associated governance structures
- Good understanding of Risk and Compliance

**What You'll Get**:
This role offers a competitive salary between £40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
