Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy driving process improvements? We're seeking a highly motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our client near Warwick. In this role, you will play a vital part in optimising production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
Continuous Improvement Engineer Responsibilities:
Ensure production orders are 'machine ready' to maintain schedule adherence.
Lead CI projects from start to finish, reporting and handing over to operations.
Promote lean principles and actively seek opportunities for process enhancement.
Support new project transitions to production and assist with DFM and PFMEA.
Mentor operators to foster an improvement culture on the shop floor.
Collaborate with Quality Engineers to improve manufacturing metrics.
Continuous Improvement Engineer Profile:
Proven experience in a machine shop environment with strong CNC knowledge
Experience in precision manufacturing or automotive/aerospace industries
Knowledge of gear form manufacturing and CAD/CAM programming is an advantage
Hands-on problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement
Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and quality frameworks
Data analysis skills and proficiency in PC applications
