**Position**:
Are you ready to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Agricultural Department? We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support two team members in various administrative tasks. This dynamic role involves a mix of office-based and on-site responsibilities, providing a unique and engaging work experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Scanning & Copying: Efficiently handle scanning and copying tasks to maintain organised records.
- Message Handling: Take messages and manage communication effectively.
- Filing: Maintain meticulous filing on the case management system and in hard copy files when required.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients for general inquiries, both over the telephone and in-person, offering excellent customer service.
- Meeting Support: Take notes during meetings, adapting to different environments, whether in a meeting room, a field, or on a building site. (Wellies are a must)
- Document Management: Order documents from third parties, such as HM Land Registry, and open files on the case management system.
- Typing: Type up documents from dictation with accuracy and attention to detail.
All tasks will be conducted with comprehensive training to ensure proficiency. As you grow in the role, there will be opportunities to:
- Check and Draft Documents: Assist in checking and drafting various documents.
- Land Registration: Explore the exciting realm of land registration for those looking to develop in that direction.
**Requirements**:
- Eagerness to learn and participate in training programs.
- Robust organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication abilities for client interactions.
- Flexibility to work in varied environments, including on-site locations.
- Capacity to perform well under pressure.
- Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to switch tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail in all tasks.
- Proficient written English skills.
- Excellent telephone manners. Comfortable and professional when dealing with clients, both face to face and on the telephone.
