Litigation Administrator

**Job Purpose**:To provide a competent and efficient legal service to the clients of the firm, and to support other fee earners in the departments in furtherance of both the department's and the firm's business objectives in compliance with the standards laid down in the firm's quality procedures and work instructions.

- Support the firm in its intention to continually grow and develop the practice in all areas.
- Understand and implement the Firms' approach to excellence so as to provide excellence of service to all clients.
- Take a proactive approach to the work carried out for clients.
- Be willing to assist other fee earners in practical ways.
- Be alert to any problems being experienced by clients and react positively to these.
- Take responsibility for noticing client care problems and for solving these.
- Work towards clear objectives that support fee earners in the twin aims of generating and delivering quality client work.
- Take part constructively in the performance review process and undertake agreed training and development activities.
- Adhere to office and compliance procedures including health and safety.
- **Daily Duties**
- Assisting in the provision of a comprehensive, quality service to clients of the firm's DRL Department.
- Helping fee earners with new client take on administration, opening and closing files and preparing letters of engagement.
- Providing practical assistance to the fee earners with court actions, to include preparing and lodging searchable and hyperlinked court bundles and similar.
- Supporting fee earners with cash related matters, to include dealing with fee earner postings, reviewing credit balances and preparing fee notes.
- Making and receiving phone calls to and from existing and potential new clients; either dealing with the call or taking and passing on relevant information within the team.
- Assisting with the preparation of marketing materials, to include any tender submissions.
- Collating information on new instructions and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual New Matter Tracker Reports.
- Booking fee earner meetings.
- Attending meetings, taking notes and setting out action plans.
- Researching and booking travel and accommodation for business trips.
- When required, typing daily correspondence from digital-dictation and preparing documents.
- The provision of other general secretarial, administration and PA support, etc. as required.
