**Quality & Compliance Officer - Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain business ISO 19001 and 14001 certifications.
- Remain informed and up to date with environmental standards, relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to create a culture of compliance.
- Lead the internal audit team and audit programme.
- Drive a root cause corrective action approach to address any non-conformities and prevent recurrence.
- Work with other departments to implement changes, devising new processes, procedures and controls as required.
- Understand business environmental compliance obligations and manage reporting.
- Oversee and maintain the business document management system and ensure it meets business and ISO requirements.
- Manage supply chain and customer compliance requests (e.g. Conflict minerals, REACH, RoHS).
- Support the Operational Excellence Director on sustainability initiatives and strategic projects.

**The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience of working with ISO Management Systems (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 preferred)
- Experience of undertaking audits of business processes.
- A process-thinker - able to map and analyse business process and identify issues and risks.
- Must be organised and enjoy multi-tasking - you will be responsible for coordinating projects as well as being hands-on.
- Strong analytical and PC skills.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to improving business performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Evidence of delivering change and engaging positively with continuous improvement
