Bristol, United Kingdom Newmedica Full time

**Who are we?**

Newmedica are one of the leading providers of NHS ophthalmology services in England, providing outpatients appointments, diagnostic testing and eye surgery. We aim to change lives through better sight and eye health.

We care for thousands of NHS and private patients a year in our specialist eye clinics across the country. We have significant growth plans over the next few years as we look to establish a national footprint and open many new sites across the UK.

We are thrilled to say that following an independently conducted survey of Newmedica colleagues, we have been certified as a Great Place to Work®. This is a global benchmark that recognises employers who create an outstanding employee experience.

**Overview of the role**

We are looking for a Systems Trainer to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract to specifically support the design and delivery of systems training to roll out a new electronic patient information system (EPR). This is a transformation project for the Newmedica business and includes significant change for our clinical services.

Systems Trainers are responsible for supporting the delivery of the L&D Plan by writing, developing and delivering effective learning and development materials and solutions. The role supports the growth of knowledge and skills across Newmedica employees.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking, growing team who are open to new and different ways of thinking. The role is home based, but we are looking for someone who is based in the Southwest, ideally in the Bristol or Gloucester area. There will be significant travel to meet the demands of the project as it rolls out across our clinical sites.

**So** what will I be doing?**

You'll play a pivotal role in the implementation of the EPR system rollout across our various clinical sites. You’ll take a role in the design and delivery and facilitation of practical group workshops and systems-based training sessions.

Your experience with blended learning solutions will ensure all colleagues can access engaging learning solutions through a variety of media (written, eLearning, videos, Intranet, Internet etc.).

You’ll have an aptitude for project management and will ensure that logistics and administration that underpin the delivery schedule is completed in a timely manner, flexing your working style to meet workload peaks and troughs as the project is implemented.

You’ll be well versed in stakeholder engagement and will bring the teams along with you in a positive manner ensuring key stakeholders are regularly updated and that the training schedule is clear, robust and well planned to maximise attendance and learning transfer.

**What experience do I need?**
- Experience of design and delivery of systems training on national/ organisation wide programmes, in particular knowledge of electronic patient record systems and more specifically Care Pathway Manager (CPM) and OpenEyes would be beneficial.
- An ability to research, design, deliver and measure quality learning interventions to management level
