**Position Summary**

Progress Housing Group are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission to create high-quality homes, support independence, and foster opportunities for individuals and communities.

As a Compliance Officer you will work alongside our Area Housing Teams and Compliance Team to ensure that access is gained for gas, electrical compliance and repairs required due to health and safety, highlighting any safe guarding or vulnerability concerns.

You will represent the organisation in court hearings and effectively communicating outcomes.

**What we need you to bring**:
You will have a background in gaining access to homes and will have the ability to take legal action ensuring that statements are produced in a timely manner.

We are looking for someone who can manage their own workloads and be able to work to tight deadlines as well as working collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve positive outcomes.

You will need a comprehensive understanding of issues relating to compliance access as well as a good understanding of the law relating to access injunctions and a thorough knowledge of tools and remedies to both prevent and tackle non access.

In addition, you will have an understanding of the importance of safeguarding and the ability to treat people as individuals and deliver a person centred approach.

This is an exciting new role where you will be able to demonstrate your abilities to develop the service and ensure we meet the needs of the new Consumer Regulations.
