IT Project Engineer
Location: Chesterfield

**Salary**: 28,000 - 34,000 (DOE)
You will play a key role in technical delivery and governance to a range of IT projects for our client's customer base. Implementing new technology at customer sites will be a large part of your day, so an excellent technical background with enhanced networkingskills is key.
The role:
You will be delivering on projects to agreed timescales and milestones. You will constantly review and adhere to the full project process, whilst researching and developing new solutions.
Communication with customers is paramount, always ensuring they are updated throughout the project. There will be the obvious administration linked to the role, including managing projects on the internal PSA system.
You will liaise with 3rd party contractors and internal team members throughout the process and carry out onsite support following project completion to ensure everything is running smoothly.
The Project Engineer team are mobile, and you must be able to travel to customer sites. However, hybrid working is incorporated, and you can carry out work from your home office when necessary.
In addition to the regular duties of this position, you will be entitled to develop your technical knowledge via formal training and will also have the opportunity to mentor other team members.
About you:

- Minimum 3 years' experience as an IT project engineer.
- Excellent understanding of project methodology
- Technically you will be well acquainted installing and/or migrating and supporting:

- o Windows Servers
- o Virtual environments (VMWare)
- o SQL Server
- o Networking LAN, WAN, VPN and Wireless
- o Active Directory
- o
- o Cloud based technology including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune.
- o Exchange Online
- o Azure Active Directory (Azure AD joined/hybrid)
- o Firewalls (NAT/PAT/ACL's)
- o Conditional Access/MFA
- o Microsoft Azure IaaS
- Most importantly, have refined customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and great organisational skills.
