¨ Experience of Sage payroll and Microsoft Office is essential

¨ Experience of making submissions to HMRC & Pension providers

¨ Ability to perform manual calculations & checks

**Job Purpose**:
To provide a full and professional payroll service to the company’s clients; processing up to 70 payrolls per month.

To Provide supports in the accounts department.

**Responsibilities**:
¨ Processing weekly, four weekly and monthly payrolls.

¨ Processing new starters and leavers.

¨ Producing payroll reports and payslips for distribution.

¨ Ensure payrolls are backed up appropriately.

¨ Making pension submissions to providers.

¨ Producing client payroll journals when required

¨ Update payroll procedures when / where appropriate.

¨ Liaise with clients to answer queries, requests and take hours/data for the processing of the payrolls.

¨ Generate monthly payroll processing schedules.

¨ Answer telephone queries, redirect or take messages where appropriate.

¨ Maintain effective filing systems.

¨ Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required within the business.
