**Team Size**: 70 staff, including 2 direct reports

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for property maintenance? Do you thrive on delivering top-notch, customer-focused services? If so, we want you to lead our dynamic Repairs Service team.

**Your Mission**: You'll be the operational and strategic powerhouse behind our Council's Repairs Service. You'll oversee repairs and maintenance for 5,700 Council homes and the Council’s corporate property folio, ensuring a high-quality, value for money service.

Interviews will be held on: Monday 22nd July 2024 and Thursday 25th July 2024

**What You'll Do**:

- **Lead with Impact**: Guide a diverse team of 70, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
- **Drive Success**: Deliver approximately £8 million of annual works, ensuring top-tier service and customer satisfaction.
- **Innovate & Improve**: Identify opportunities to grow and enhance our services, benchmarking against the best in the industry.
- **Collaborate & Communicate**: Work closely with the Housing function and Corporate Management Team to align with our Asset Management Strategy and Corporate Plan.
- **Ensure Excellence**: Maintain robust policies, governance, and safety compliance, backed by state-of-the-art IT systems.

**Your Skills & Experience**:

- Proven success in senior management within a multi-disciplinary property maintenance team, ideally in Local Government or housing associations.
- Expertise in managing large teams and subcontractors, with a focus on performance and change management.
- Strong political awareness and the ability to translate strategic direction into action.
- Inspirational leadership with excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
